Reutter Atmos

Atmos - my secret love among watches. The discovery of slowness - anyone who has watched an old Atmos at work understands me.

From the simple 2-hand watch to watches with 10 or more complications - all only need air pressure differences and work away quietly.

I only offer watches that have been in use with me for some time and have been serviced if the movement did not meet my expectations. Some have also been restored, which, unlike many other watches, is not considered sacrilegious; relevant notes will be provided.

Shipping an Atmos is a delicate matter, so I prefer to avoid it. Those who pick up their Atmos from me will receive a direct discount of €100.00. Alternatively, such a watch can also be shipped. Please accept the (domestic German) shipping flat rate of €85.00 in this case. Thank you!

Here comes the predecessor of the JLC Atmos for sale: a very early Reutter in a metal case and original condition. The watch was probably made before 1930, considering the serial number 1290 - it is almost 100 years old! It might be one of the very first.

The dial has never been restored; the "Reutter" marking is present, as well as the small plate on the back. Inside the metal back, you will also find the serial number. The case has not been refurbished or repainted.

The watch is in very well-maintained condition; its age is only noticeable upon closer inspection. A significant early Reutter/Atmos!

The watch runs very well (currently with plus 1Minute/3 days) and fits with its unique Art Deco design both in living areas and upscale offices.

This is a genuine early Reutter Atmos in a metal case and original condition. According to the serial number, the watch was manufactured before 1930 at the beginning of Reutter's production.
The dial was never reworked or touched up; the Reutter signature is still present, as well as the small batch number on the back. This clock is nearly 100 years old!

At the moment, it runs 1 minute fast every 3 days – not bad for such an old timepiece!?
